Build with your first game with ChatGPT

Make your first game

1. In the homepage or in the Create page the model picker and select ChatGPT Plan. It should show Free — no credits are spent on this path.

2. Describe your game in plain English. For example: "A fast one-on-one sword fighting game built around parries and counterattacks with responsive hit feedback and unlockable character colors"

3. Submit and wait for the AI to generate your game. You'll land in the editor with a playable preview.

4. Once the editor finishes building, it’s time to do your first playtest!

5. Keep refining in chat — try prompts like "make the player move faster" or more detailed like "Add up and down motion for the fighters so that they can move across the floor while fighting."

2. You can also try using the “Suggested next steps”. Clicking on any of the suggestions will add a prompt to the chat box, which you can modify or send as is.
